Trophy taxidermy by André and Edmund Rheeder — shoulder mounts, full mounts, skulls and tanned skins, for local hunters and international clients. Every animal is tagged and booked in the day it arrives, and that number stays with it until you hang it.
Your trophy is routed to the bench its mount calls for, and its tag follows it through the workshop — so we can tell you where it stands, any day you ask.
Skins tanned soft for the floor or the wall. Tanning is payable in full when the skin is handed in.
Shoulder mounts, front-half and pedestal mounts, full mounts — posed left, right or straight, as you took it.
Clean European mounts, on a shield or without one.
Trophies prepared and packed for export — for international hunters shipping home or to their own taxidermist.
Bring the trophy to the studio in La Hoff. Each animal is tagged and booked in with its own number, married to it for good.
A 50% deposit is payable before mounting begins — preparation work carries on in the meantime. Flat skins are payable in full before tanning.
Your trophy works through its department. The waiting period is 7–9 months after the deposit is paid — good work will not be hurried.
Settle the balance, sign it out, hang it up. Completed work is released once the account is paid in full.
What you do at the shot decides what we can do at the bench. Four things, straight from our terms:
Unsure about the skinning? Phone first — a fee for slaughtering the mask is cheaper than a ruined cape.
